The first look of the Billa 2 film, which was released on the occasion of Sankranthi festival, received an overwhelming response from Thala’s fans. GK Media, which distributed many movies in the recent past like Mankatha, Velayudham, Ko, Aadukalam, etc., has acquired the overseas rights of Billa 2. Billa franchise and the star power of Ajith Kumar have worked big time again.

Billa 2 is directed by Chakri Toleti and it is produced by Suresh Balajee. It features Mumbai-based model Huma Qureshi, Bruna Abdullah, Prabhu, Rahman, Krishnakumar and others cast.

The Mankatha star will be seen wearing blood-stained shirt with a revolver in hand. His intense eyes clearly indicates the nature of the film.

Devi Sri Prasad are back with Vengai. The Vengai album comprises of 5 tracks amongst which couple of songs are fast-beat mass numbers while rest of the tracks are melodies.

A typical Kuthu number catering to the tastes of rural cohorts and it is more revealing with the style of composition and intonation by singers. Devi Sri Prasad goes for a right selection of singers.

Director Hari has penned lyrics for a song and other songs have the lyrical lines of Vengai.

Actress Radha’s daughter Karthika has been acting as heroine through the Tamil film Ko. As per Karthika his first film in Tamil is Ko. I am donning the role of a journalist. I am doing the role which my mother has not done. There is nothing wrong in glamour. As far as I am concerned glamour is not in wearing costumes. It is not in wearing swim suits. It depends on the character’s style and acting.

Mankatha is an upcoming Ajith’s 50th Movie. It is a comedy thriller film written and directed by Venkat Prabhu. Yuvan Shankar Raja was signed up as the music composer of the film, which also happens to be his fourth Ajith Kumar project. The film, to be produced and distributed by Dhayanidhi Alagiri’s Cloud Nine Movies.

Will West Indian batting Legend Brian Lara play in next edition of the IPl 4 2011 Twenty20 league Will West Indian batting Legend Brian Lara play in next edition of the IPL 4 2011 Twenty20 league Indian Premier League chief Lalit Modi recently revealed on his Twitter account that Lara was keen to play in the fourth season of the high-profile event next year.

In return Brian Lara has made it clear that he is not certain to play in next edition of the Twenty20 league and said he needs to be at the top of his game to compete with the best of the business.

It has been a long time since I have played competitive cricket. The standard of cricket being played in the Indian Premier League is pretty high, so I need to be on the top of my game before I think of joining the League. Lara praised the concept of IPL. It is an awesome concept.

IPL is into its third year. I like the concept of franchise based cricket with the private investors coming in. Just like in the English Premier League in England and the Spanish League you know people are following their clubs. Now it is catching up all around the world.
