Vijay’s 52-ball 95 was the cornerstone of Chennai Super Kings’ mammoth total of 205 in the IPL finals. Vijay praised CSK teammate, off-spinner R Ashwin, for his fine performance with the ball.

Ashwin has been really bowling well for the last two months in the domestic circuit and for the Indian team. I hope he will keep doing well for the country.

Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) T20 is set to start on June 4. The CCL T20 will be played between the popular film industries of India. Bollywood, Kollywood, Tollywood and Sandalwood.

Event kick-started with a curtain raiser match played between South Superstars and Mumbai Heroes at ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Vizag. The official tournament will take-off on June 4 between Surya’s Chennai Rhinos v/s Venkatesh’s Telugu Warriors at Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

India will play the inaugural match of the World Cup against Bangladesh in Mirpur on February 19.

Indian Squad :

Mahendra Singh Dhoni (capt/wk), Virender Sehwag, Sachin Tendulkar, Gautam Gambhir, Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, Munaf Patel, Praveen Kumar, Yusuf Pathan, Piyush Chawla, R Ashwin, Ashish Nehra.

Leg spinner Piyush Chawla was the surprise inclusion while young batsman Rohit Sharma and speedster S Sreesanth were not included. spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, who is also a useful batsman, was also named in the squad.

Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir and pacer Praveen Kumar though had injuries has made into the squad.

Indian Team to be captained by Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Virender Sehwag as his deputy. The main reason behind picking up three specialist spinners were the turning wickets in India. The spinners probably play a very major role on the turning wickets

The squad has six batsmen, four pacers, three spinners, one all rounder in Yusuf Pathan and a wicket keeper in captain Dhoni.

Actor Ajith Kumar very confident on winning FIA Formula 2 racing event

Actor Ajith Kumar has Signed FIA Formula 2 racing tournament. He is now ready to kick-start FIA Formula 2 racing on April 16. The actor had made his racing debut in 2003 with Formula BMW Asia Series. Ajith Kumar took part in British Formula 3 Series at UK in 2004.
Ajith Kumar said that I am sure that my participation along with Armaan and Parthiva will increase more interests for this sport.

I am confident about achieving success this time with F2 grid. I have already tested some other cars in Malaysia and worked on practice runs in F2 at Snetterton and Silverstone much prior to the racing tournament starts.

After making high waves in his acting career, Ajith Kumar feels that it’s the right time for harking back to racing with the solemn feats of letting this sport would gradually witness the high impact in our country.

It’s noteworthy that Ajith Kumar is the third Indian driver to join the 2010 Formula tournament with top-charting Armaan Ebrahim and Parthiva Sureshwaran.

INDIAN Squad For T20 WC: Mahendra Singh Dhoni (captain), Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Suresh Raina, Yuvraj Singh, Yusuf Pathan, Harbhajan Singh, Ravindra Jadeja, Zaheer Khan, Praveen Kumar, Ashish Nehra, Vinay Kumar, Dinesh Karthik, Rohit Sharma, Piyush Chawla.

The chief selector Krish Srikkanth told reporters that We have a very strong batting line-up and I am sure the team will do well. India are grouped with South Africa and Afghanistan in the league phase of the T20 WC. Left-handed batsman Yuvraj Singh will mark his return to the national side after a wrist injury earlier this year. Opening batsman Gautam Gambhir and left-arm paceman Ashish Nehra were included in the squad by India’s selectors despite injury doubts. The notable omissions in the line-up are batsman Virat Kohli and fast bowler Ishant Sharma.

The 26-year-old Vinay is one of four pacemen in the bowling attack for the April 30-May 16 tournament spearheaded by Zaheer Khan. India named uncapped paceman Vinay Kumar in a 15-man squad for the third edition of the World Twenty20 championship in the West Indies.
