A popular Tamil magazine conducted a poll to find out the most expected film of 2012. Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiyaan, Kamal Haasan’s Viwaroopam, Vijay’s Nanban, Ajith’s Billa 2, Arya’s Vettai, Silambarasan’s Vettai Mannan and Danush’s 3 were in fray to scale the first place.

These movie already started generating high waves. Let see who tops the list. Let see how my choice will work as below.

Danush’s 3 (because of kolaveri song)
Kamal Haasan’s Viwaroopam
Vijay’s Nanban (as this a remake movie got lower rank)

Rana team excited

The entire Rana team is thrilled and excited and are now confident of starting the shoot of Rana in December or January after Superstar Rajinikanth completed the shoot of Shahrukh’s much awaited Ra One. Rana is a big-budget action flick in which Rajni plays triple role. Rana is a period flick. The roles involve intense physical activity like horse riding and each costume weighs around 25 kilos this made Superstar Rajini to take rest and come fresh.

At present, director K.S. Ravikumar is busy finalizing the venues and foreign locations for the shoot. The film has Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone as the leading lady and Sonu Sood plays the baddie. Oscar winning musician A.R. Rahman will compose the music while Ratnavelu handles the camera.

Ajith’s Billa 2 shooting Started

Billa 2 shooting commenced at the Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. The film’s lead star Ajith, producer Suresh Balaji and director Chakri Toleti among others were at the Film City. Ravi K Chandran added that the film is being shot on the RED EPIC camera.

Billa 2 has two heroines Huma Qureshi and Bruna Abdullah. Prabhu and Rahman who played important roles in Billa are also a part of this flick.

Billa 2 as many would already be aware, will be more like a prequel of Billa which will throw light upon how a normal guy. Chakri Toleti went on a trip to Hyderabad, where he had gone location hunting for this film. Yuvan Shankar Raja will score the tunes for this flick.

Ajith’s much awaited 50th film Mankatha is directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by Dayanidhi Alagiri of Cloud Nine Movies. The film also stars Arjun, Trisha, Lakshmi Rai, Anjali and others. Mankatha’s audio was supposed to be released in May but this now stands postponed.

Though the release of the film has been postponed to June, the crew is busy completing the shoot. It is heard that the audio launch will be held on May 1st, 2011 on Ajith Kumar’s birthday. while the release is likely to be released by the last week of May.

Hope Ajith fans are bound for a treat.

Madhavan and Trisha will act in Tamil remake Tanu Weds Manu

Tanu Weds Manu is a romantic-comedy film, which starred Madhavan and Kangana Ranaut in the leads. It is about an NRI, who comes to India in search of a suitable life-partner, and falls in love with a girl.

The actor Madhavan has revealed that the makers of the film have approached him to enact the same role in the TWM remake. Madhavan has said that he would feature in Tanu Weds Manu remake. The movie bosses have offered Trisha Krishnan to reprise the role of Tanuja Trivedi , which was played by Kangana Ranaut in Tanu Weds ManuEarlier, it was reported that Karthi Sivakumar was approached to act in the film. but now it is almost confirmed that actor Madhavan will star in the Tamil version of the film
