ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 schedule, fixtures and results

Last time World Cup was hosted in Asia in 1996 and Sri Lanka merge winners of the ICC Wills World Cup. Unfortunately, this time Pakistan will not host any games of 2011 world cup because of security concern. ICC has tried their best to shorten the 2011 world cup. India will host 29 matches, Sri Lanka will host 12 matches and 8 games will be hosted by Bangladesh.

Fourteen teams will participate in 2011 World Cup with 14 teams divided into two groups each containing seven teams.Group A contains Australia, Pakistan, New Zealand, Sri Lanka,Zimbabwe, Kenya and Canada while Group B includes India, South Africa, England, West Indies,Bangladesh, Ireland and Netherlands.

India will host one quarter final in Ahmedabad, one semi final in Mohali and Final of World Cup 2011 in Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. While Sri Lanka will host the 2ndst semi final in R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo and Bangladesh will host 1stand 3rd quarterfinal in Mirpur, Dhaka.

Dayanidhi Alagiri is producing this Mankatha film, which has Ajith and Trisha as the lead pair and Nagarjuna, Premji Amaren and others in important roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja scoring the music.

Venkat Prabhu is busy these days directing Mankatha, the 50th film of Ajith. The movie is expected to be released on Ajith’s birthday, May 1st next year.

There are reports that the chemistry between Ajith and Trisha is just amazing and the fans are going to love seeing them on screen when Mankatha releases.

The Music launch of Robot, the Hindi version of his much awaited Sci-fi flick Enthiran was released at JW Marriot on Saturday.

Director Shankar said It is an Indian film because it brings together best creative talent from India and abroad. Shankar is an excellent technician and one of the best directors of India who can mix the class and commercial elements very well.

Superstar Rajinikanth Speaking at the event said Amitabh is his inspiration, role model and guru. I and Amitabh have done films like Andha Kanoon, Giraftar, Hum together and I can never forget the love, affection and care he showered on me.

In return to Rajni’s comments, Amitabh Bachchan said that i had a long association with Rajini and values him as a friend and colleague. He is truly a son-of-the-soil who is admired and loved by every Indian. Given his humble beginning, Rajini is an example for every Indian. His simplicity, honesty, and down-to-the-earth nature have always impressed me

Bollywood Star Amitabh Bachchan released the audio CD and presented the first copy to Rajinikanth. Superstar Rajinikanth and BIG B family graced the function.

It is confirmed that the shooting of Billa 2 will commence from early 2011. Whether Ajith will start Billa 2 after his next with Venkat Prabhu is still not known. Vishnuvardhan is all set to partner again with Ajith for the sequel on Billa. Sources confirm that Vishnu is ready with the script and is waiting for confirmation of dates from Ajith. We will have more news on this soon.

Director Vishnuvardhan’s association with Ajith in Billa proved out to be highly successful in 2007. Billa proved to be a landmark movie in Tamil cinema for its stylish looks and action sequences.
