Mankatha is an upcoming Ajith’s 50th Movie. It is a comedy thriller film written and directed by Venkat Prabhu. Yuvan Shankar Raja was signed up as the music composer of the film, which also happens to be his fourth Ajith Kumar project. The film, to be produced and distributed by Dhayanidhi Alagiri’s Cloud Nine Movies.

Kavalan is a movie that defies all the preset notions of a Vijay starrer that have been built over the last couple of years. Kavalan is a throwback to the Thulladha Manamum Thullum days of Vijay and we hope the days are here to stay. He has lived the character. Asin, in Tamil for the first time after Dasavatharam, convinces us with her portrayal. The chemistry of the lead pair has worked out well.
Kavalan , remake of the Malayalam film Bodyguard, brings together the successful duo of Vijay and Siddique once again. Kavalan is an emotionally narrated love story about a righteous and innocent man who is assigned the task of being a young woman’s bodyguard.
KS Ravi Kumar, who will be directing a part of the Rajini-starrer Hara, has requested Trisha to play the Superstar’s heroine. Hara will have the animated and real live acting. As Soundarya Rajinikanth has already completed directing most of this animation film.
Now the Direction begins with real life acting.

Ajith’s 50th film Mankatha, directed by Venkat Prabhu, recently completed shooting its intro song in Bangkok.
The audio of Mankatha will be launched in April and the film will grace theatres on May 1, 2011 (Ajith’s birthday).
The film also stars Trisha, Premji Amaren, Vaibhav, Neetu Chandra, Lakshmi Rai and Jacqueline Fernandez in prominent roles.
Yuvanshankar Raja is the music director and Sakthi Saravanan takes care of the camera.
