The Dirty Picture film, directed by Milan Luthria, will be released on December 2 which is Smitha’s birth date. The film also stars Naseeruddin Shah and Emraan Hashmi.

Vidya Balan, who is portraying Southern siren Silk Smitha in Ekta Kapoor’s The Dirty Picture, can be seen in a sensual avatar in a red hot sari. My film is not inspired by any one of them, but is a reflection of an era when they used their sexuality to carve a niche for themselves in the male-dominated South film industry.

Ajith’s Billa 2 shooting Started

Billa 2 shooting commenced at the Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. The film’s lead star Ajith, producer Suresh Balaji and director Chakri Toleti among others were at the Film City. Ravi K Chandran added that the film is being shot on the RED EPIC camera.

Billa 2 has two heroines Huma Qureshi and Bruna Abdullah. Prabhu and Rahman who played important roles in Billa are also a part of this flick.

Billa 2 as many would already be aware, will be more like a prequel of Billa which will throw light upon how a normal guy. Chakri Toleti went on a trip to Hyderabad, where he had gone location hunting for this film. Yuvan Shankar Raja will score the tunes for this flick.

Ajith Mankatha to be a sizzling Film

Ajith is right now busy with Mankatha and will start on Billa 2. Ajith’s 50th film Mankatha is hurtling towards the finish line. Ajith’s much awaited 50th film Mankatha is directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by Dayanidhi Alagiri of Cloud Nine Movies.

The film is a multi – starrer with the likes of Arjun, Vaibhav, Premji Amaren, Trisha, Andrea, Lakshmi Rai, and Anjali as part of the cast. Music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

The final schedule will be wrapped up in Hyderabad by the end of this month. Following this, post – production work will begin in earnest. And the film will be ready for release in July.

It is heard that the audio launch will be held on June, 2011

We already know the Hindi remake of the blockbuster Three Idiots, directed by Shankar and titled as Nanban. The first schedule of the shooting just wrapped up in Ooty.

Vijay, Srikanth and Jiiva will play the lead roles in Tamil. S.J. Suryah will play the role of Chatur (Omi Vaidya). Ileana D’Cruz will appear in the role played by Kareena Kapoor, and Sathyaraj will appear as the insensitive professor Virus. Latest news is that Raghava Lawrence, Anuya had been givena new roles to play.

Mankatha is an upcoming Ajith’s 50th Movie. It is a comedy thriller film written and directed by Venkat Prabhu. Yuvan Shankar Raja was signed up as the music composer of the film, which also happens to be his fourth Ajith Kumar project. The film, to be produced and distributed by Dhayanidhi Alagiri’s Cloud Nine Movies.
