Actor Vijay had went to Ramlila Maidan in New Delhi to meet Anna Hazare and participate in the fast. Anna Hazare’s demand for a corruption free government, finally gave in by organizing a token fast to support him.

Vijay has always been supportive of Anna and his peaceful way of protest. He genuinely cares for the country and has always been involved in numerous welfare measures. Vijay went and participated in the fast, sitting right next to the man, who has risen to the position of a national hero. Vijay’s Makkal Iyakkam in Delhi also participated in the fast with Vijay. He returned to Chennai by a late evening flight.

The entire Tamil film fraternity expressed its gratitude to Chief Minister M Karunanidhi for his gesture to allocate land and housing for the technicians in the Tamil film industry.

All the actors in the Tamil Industry were spotted at the function. Superstar Rajinikanth was seen seated next to the CM along with Kamal Haasan and Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan.

The entire film fraternity thanked the man who allocated 90 acres of land for their housing and well being. It was their way of showing their gratitude to a friend, writer and a great leader. Ajith Kumar who hogged all the attention at the mega felicitation function for Chief Minister M Karunanidhi organised by the Tamil film industry in Chennai. Ajith went on to speak on the demands and pressures actors faced from a few vested interests to participate and extend moral support to various political and social causes, it evoked a standing ovation from the Superstar Rajinikanth, which later turned into a thunderous applause from the audience. He also insisted that that he attended the function on his own to thank the Chief Minister for his service to Tamils and Tamil Nadu for the past six decades.

Navya Nair began her acting career with the hit Malayalam film Ishtam in 2001 and went on to win the State Best Actress award the next year for her performance in Nandanam.
Malayalam, Kannada and Tamil actress Navya Nair tied the knot with businessman Santosh N. Menon the vice-president of a Mumbai-based exporting firm and the son of Narayana Menon and Shantha Menon, originally hailing from Changanassery in Kottayam district. The marriage took place at Cheppad near Alappuzha.
The reception has been held at a hall in Changanacherry (Santhosh’s hometown) on this evening at 6 p.m.
Navya Nair, native of Muthukulam in Alappuzha, is the daughter of Raju, a BSNL employee, and Veena, a schoolteacher. On his marriage she wore a red Kanchivaram Bavanji Sari. His wedding, conducted between 12 p.m. and 12.30 p.m. at the C.K.H.S.S. Grounds, Cheppad, was attended by over 1,500 people, including several film stars including Cheran, Kaviyoor Ponnamma, Suresh Gopi, Divya Unni and K.P.A.C. Lalitha and also many more were present.

friendship wprld Happy Friendship Day Happy friendship day to all of my blogging friends who do visit my blog regularly to respect our friendship.

Time might lead me to nowhere and faith might break into pieces but I will always be THANKFUL that once in my life.

The first thing that I would do in the morning is, call and msg all my old friends and wish them. They have been with me through thick and thin, and this is the day to do something special for them. I plan to spend the entire day. The friendship bands are the easiest way to bond with your Friends.
