A popular Tamil magazine conducted a poll to find out the most expected film of 2012. Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiyaan, Kamal Haasan’s Viwaroopam, Vijay’s Nanban, Ajith’s Billa 2, Arya’s Vettai, Silambarasan’s Vettai Mannan and Danush’s 3 were in fray to scale the first place.

These movie already started generating high waves. Let see who tops the list. Let see how my choice will work as below.

The entire Rana team is thrilled and excited and are now confident of starting the shoot of Rana in December or January after Superstar Rajinikanth completed the shoot of Shahrukh’s much awaited Ra One. Rana is a big-budget action flick in which Rajni plays triple role. Rana is a period flick. The roles involve intense physical activity like horse riding and each costume weighs around 25 kilos this made Superstar Rajini to take rest and come fresh.

At present, director K.S. Ravikumar is busy finalizing the venues and foreign locations for the shoot. The film has Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone as the leading lady and Sonu Sood plays the baddie. Oscar winning musician A.R. Rahman will compose the music while Ratnavelu handles the camera.

7am Arivu is an upcoming Tamil science fiction thriller film written and directed by A. R. Murugadoss. Starring Suriya in double roles. The soundtrack, composed by Harris Jayaraj, consists of six songs including a Chinese track.

For this film Surya underwent a special training in martial arts for his role of a 14th century Buddhist monk in the film. Shruti Hassan has paired up Surya in 7 Aum Arivu.

Oh Ringa Ringa… is crooned by Roshan, Jerry John, BennyDayal and Suchitra. Lyrics are by Pa Vijay. This is a typical Benny track as itis a fast paced number with techno beats.
Mun Andhi… Karthik and Megha have crooned this songthat has lyrics penned by Na Muthukumar. It’s a feel good romantic number
Yamma Yamma… is crooned by SP Balasubramanyam and Swetha Menon. It’s a typical pathos song that sounds more like a lullaby.Lyrics are by Kabilan.
Innum Enna Thozha… is by Balram, Naresh Iyer and Suchith Suresan with lyrics by Pa Vijay.
The Rise of Damo… is sung by Hao Wang with lyrics penned by Madhan Karky.
Yellae Lama… is sung by Vijay Prakash, Karthik, Shalini and Shruti Haasan! Lyrics are by Na Muthukumar.

Will Velayudham Hit or Flop?

For Vijay, will Velayudham movie bring another Hit or Flop in his career. After seeing trailer and songs, we feel it is not up to the mark. Hope this movie give the vijay a hit but not sure after 7aam Arivu is going to release on the same day. Diwali line-up for this year is getting ready and its really big. Only Velayudham will have a deeper down impact as we know that this movie remake of the 2000 Telugu film Azad that starred late Soundarya as a journalist and Akkineni Nagarjuna as a villager. Vijay when is come to action film he lose his way. His previous action movie all were flop except gilli and pokiri.

As competition between vijay and surya get bigger and surya already ahead of him it is so easy to surya movie to win the market than vijay

Actually question should be is Mankatha Hit or Meha Hit? Mankatha Mega Hit. Ajith is always referred to as King of Opening. It has been proved once again!!. Handsome Vinayak Mahadev (Ajith) team himself with a few boys on his ‘Money’ mission and when there is cop Prithviraj (Arjun) had played a strict Cop.

Ajith’s characterization is a major plus for the film. Next to Ajith, it is action king Arjun who has held on to his fort. Premji, Jaiprakash, Vaibhav, Mahat and Ashwin round out the supporting cast.

Sakthi Saravanan and editors Praveen & Srikanth score in this department. Ajith completes his mission of breaking all the syntax of a Tamil hero and has gone on to prove that an actor should strictly treat the script as the hero. Cheers to Ajith. The man after a long gap gets a role where he can perform with variety. He is at his best and his salt and pepper look is catchy and attractive. Vaibhav gets a meaty character and he utilises the opportunity. Both Ganesh and Mahanth are tailor-made for the roles, while Premgi is at his best in the film. Showcase of Ajith’s and other stars’ bloopers which will be quite a laugh riot at the end.

Yuvan Shankar Raja’s mass tunes that elevates the mood. Accompanied by Karthik Raja, Bhavadharini and Premgi Amaran, he has shown difference in background score too.

The film is a racy one with many twists and it will keep one glued to the screen till the very end of the film, not even sparing the end credits. Ajith’s new avatar as a villain, the various twists in the film boasts off a criminal Ajith one would have never seen.
