Tsunami warning withdrawn after Major Earthquake struck Indonesia Apr 2012

No tunami in Chennai 2012

India has finally withdrawn the tsunami warning that was generated earlier.It spurred warnings of a possible tsunami. A little over two hours after the first earthquake, with no big waves reported and just as it seemed that the tsunami alerts would be lifted soon.

The first earthquake reports is measured 8.9 on the Richter scale. The earthquake struck Indonesia at 2.08 pm . A tsunami warning for the Nicobar Islands that was downgraded to an alert too has been withdrawn.

National Disaster Management Authority Vice President Sashidhar Reddy told that there is no specific threat. There is no likelihood of any tsunami in the Indian Ocean region.

Many of the compaines, educational institutions and shops were closed as the cities like Kolkata and Chennai experienced a second aftershock at around 4.25 pm.

STR himself directed Manmadhan and came in for a lot of praise for trying something so different. STR followed it up with Vallavan and since then he has not picked up the directorial baton contenting himself with acting, singing and dancing. Now it seems likely that he will turn director again with Manmadhan 2.

STR is busy shooting for Vettai Mannan and Poda Podi after which he will start his next projects that include Vaalu for Nic Arts.

His Love Anthem will also be out this year. If this were not enough, the buzz is that STR is also working on a sequel to Manmadhan.

Kazhugu Movie Getting More Response

The Kazhugu film is directed by Sathyasiva and has Krishna and Bindhu madhavi in the lead. An ecstatic Krishna said he was very happy with the way the film has come out. Appreciations have been pouring to him.

Kazhugu is really flying high with appreciations pouring in.

The flick will be screened in 28 more theaters.

Director Vishnuvardhan, brother of Kazhugu’s hero Krishna, lauded him for his striking performance in the film.

The director Vishnuvardhan said out of three films Krishna has done so far, I would rate Kazhugu as his best. I could only see Sera on screen and not Krishna.

Prabhu Deva is practising his moves and will be dancing for some of the biggest hits in his career. Amitabh Bachchan will be hosting this memorable show. IPL 5 could not ask for a bigger or better start to this season.

This year is going to be special as none other than Prabhu Deva, India’s answer to Michael Jackson will be performing at the opening ceremony to be held on April 3rd at the YMCA grounds in Chennai.

This year the opening ceremony of the IPL is a gala event with the biggest stars from the country performing for the fans.

Prabhu Deva dance will be the grand finale of the show. If this was not enough of a treat, Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra will be performing with him.

Hi friends!! Recently I went to my friend birthday party. It was amazing to share the wonderful moments again with my friends after a long time. It was a pleasant evening. I was very happy to see most of the friends back and having the fun.
