The Music launch of Robot, the Hindi version of his much awaited Sci-fi flick Enthiran was released at JW Marriot on Saturday.

Director Shankar said It is an Indian film because it brings together best creative talent from India and abroad.  Shankar is an excellent technician and one of the best directors of India who can mix the class and commercial elements very well.

Superstar Rajinikanth Speaking at the event said Amitabh is his inspiration, role model and guru. I and Amitabh have done films like Andha Kanoon, Giraftar, Hum together and I can never forget the love, affection and care he showered on me.

Shankar-Rajini Combination along with AR Rahman and Aiswarya with the budget ranging from 165 to 200 crores and one doesn’t need to explain the expectation level for this mega budget venture.

The Endhiran audio launch function was held in kualalampur, malaysia. Everyone expected that sun tv will launch the live relay of the live function. But it is not live in india. They are telecasting the program on august 15th 2010. But the show was telecasted live in malaysia in the Astro Vaanavil channel.

The audio launch event was peppered with onstage dance performances, screening of songs, trailer and speeches. Endhiran’s music is scored by double Oscar winner A R Rahman and the audio hit the shelves yesterday at audio stores and was available for listening online as well.

There are 7 songs in the Endhiran audio CD and the entire album has a Techno feel to it, probably Rahman’s decision on the composition given the sci-fi nature of the film.

It is confirmed that the shooting of Billa 2 will commence from early 2011. Whether Ajith will start Billa 2 after his next with Venkat Prabhu is still not known. Vishnuvardhan is all set to partner again with Ajith for the sequel on Billa. Sources confirm that Vishnu is ready with the script and is waiting for confirmation of dates from Ajith. Director Vishnuvardhan’s association with Ajith in Billa proved out to be highly successful in 2007. Billa proved to be a landmark movie in Tamil cinema for its stylish looks and action sequences.

Music of Endhiran Movie, starring superstar Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai in the lead roles, will be launched on July 31, 2010. The audio rights of Endhiran have been brought by Think Music for a whopping 7 crores.

The Kollywood’s master film-maker S. Shankar’s forthcoming science fiction film Endhiran, recently revealed in his blog that the film will have six songs and one has been sung by maestro himself; Oscar-winner Resul Pookutty is the sound designer.

It is reported that audio launch will be a grand affair, the first of its kind in Tamil cinema. The producer of Sun Pictures are planning a grand audio launch in Kula Lumpur, Malaysia on July 31, 2010.
